Standard Home Cleaning Checklist

All Areas:

• Dusting: Dusting surfaces, including furniture, shelves, baseboards, and electronics, to remove accumulated dust and allergens.

• Cobweb Removal: Removing cobwebs from corners and high areas to maintain a clean appearance.

• Window Cleaning: Cleaning and polishing windows including sliding glass doors and kitchen windows not including tracks to maintain a clear view and enhance natural light.

• Vacuuming: Thoroughly vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery to remove dirt, dust, and debris. This may also include vacuuming hard floors.

• Mopping: Mopping and sanitizing hard floors, such as tile, linoleum, hardwood, or laminate, to keep them clean and germ-free.

• Trash Removal: Emptying and replacing trash bags in various rooms and disposing of waste properly.

Kitchen Cleaning:

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, and backsplashes.

• Wiping down cabinet exteriors and cleaning the microwave and oven exterior as needed.

Bedroom Cleaning:

• Making beds

• Changing bed linens upon request

• Dusting bedroom furniture

Living Room Cleaning:

• Cleaning and dusting living room furniture, entertainment centers, and electronics.

Bathroom Cleaning:

• Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, mirrors, and countertops.

• Scrubbing and disinfecting tile and grout.

Laundry Room Cleaning:

• Wiping down appliances, front of cupboards, and keeping the laundry area tidy.
